Midwest Food Bank has also had the opportunity to serve internationally.

In February, 2008 Midwest Food Bank sent its 4th shipment of food to U.S. Navy's Project Handclasp. Through Project Handclasp, the Navy has been sending aid to West African countries, as well as, countries in Southeast Asia. The food that Midwest Food Bank sent was donated by ADM in Decatur, IL.
