Local Relief

Midwest Food Bank serves over 200 nonprofit organizations locally.  Being centrally located in Illinois and Indiana allows many nonprofit organizations and volunteers to take part in our monthly distributions and daily activities.

Each month, one week is dedicated as "Load-Out Week". During that period, organizations come in to pick up food which they distribute to people in their communities. Numerous volunteers also participate throughout the week to make it all possible.
