Peoria Midwest Food Bank is building a freezer/refrigerator addition.

Peoria Midwest Food Bank is expanding! In January the new addition of a freezer/refrigerator and packaging room began. The freezer and refrigerator will be able to hold semi loads of product. This will enable the Midwest Food Bank to receive more nutritious and vital food product to benefit and serve the community that is food insecure.

The freezer/refrigerator panels have been set and the roof has been covered. It is amazing at what has been accomplished with the winter weather upon the jobsite. Many diligent construction workers have built consistently despite the bitter cold, snow, rain and wind.

The project is almost completely funded and Lord willing will be completed this spring.
