First Harvest - Garden of Hope

The Garden of Hope at the Indianapolis Division of the Midwest Food Bank reaped its first harvest today - 35 pounds of broccoli!  The Burmese refugees have returned for a third season of gardening at the Midwest Food Bank.  The 1.3 acre garden is lovely, and we anticipate another 16,000+ harvest from their labor and Jim Whitaker's leadership.  We are glad to partner with ourBurmese friends, now numbering over 7,000 in the township in which the Midwest Food Bank is located.

Disaster Relief in Alabama - Indianapolis Division
