The 2018 California wildfires have dropped out of the public eye, but they are still daily news at Midwest Food Bank Arizona. We are preparing the send our 5th semi-load of supplies from our Gilbert, AZ location. In addition, we were able to facilitate a truckload of supplies directly from a donor to our Salvation Army partner distributing supplies on the ground.
This could not be done without the support of many donors and volunteers. For one week, Sun Valley Community Church committed cash and designated offerings at all five of its locations to MFB Arizona. The resulting donation was more than $62,000! Thank you to all or the individuals, businesses, and churches that have supported and continue to support this effort.
