Midwest Food Bank Georgia recently received a grant from Christian Brothers Automotive Fischer Crossings in Sharpsburg, GA. The car repair services shop recently donated $16,000 to MFB for the purchase a semi-trailer.

The trailer will double our capacity to receive donated loads of food. It will also provide cost savings by reducing our truck brokerage fees. Using our own equipment reduces our overall trucking and logistics fees which allows us to do even more with the funds provided by our faithful donors.

Amanda Gilbert, local Christian Brothers Automotive Franchise owner, also offers support through volunteerism. At Midwest Food Bank we believe in Sharing God's Blessings. We are thankful for partners like Christian Brothers Automotive that help us do just that.
