FGCU interns a big help to MFB Florida

Midwest Food Bank Florida, welcomes two interns from Florida Gulf Coast University - Brianna Hamilton and Austin Bonsanto. These two college students are both majoring in communications with an emphasis on public relations. MFB Florida will use their skills to assist with fundraising, social media, grant research, and media relations.

"I like seeing people from different backgrounds and ages come together," says Brianna about her role at MFB. Austin also enjoys serving others and seeing the results. "I guess the thing I like most is seeing the smiles on someone's face after helping out," he says.

Both Brianna and Austin started volunteering in December. Volunteers of all ages and with a variety of skills give countless hours to MFB and are a unique and blessed differentiator. Welcome to Brianna and Austin.
