MFB Haiti supporting new partnering ministries

As COVID grinds on and brings growing anxiousness and hardship to much of the world, MFB Haiti is thankful to report that year-over-year our sea-container shipments of food to Haiti have doubled. In 2020, over 160 tons of food relief have been shipped, received, and distributed by our Haiti faith-based partners. Nearly three-quarters of the shipments were the tasty, and very nutritious Tender Mercies.

With the increase in shipments, comes ever-growing demand and MFB Haiti has developed four additional partnerships in Haiti in 2020 (12 total). One of these new partners is TeacHaiti, which operates schools in Port au Prince and San Michele. Upon receiving their first Tender Mercies from MFB, founder Miquette Denie had words of thanksgiving to share.

"God's hands have been in this all along," said Miquette. "This is awesome. God's faithfulness blows me away constantly. I love what your organization is doing to address the hunger issue around the world and if TeacHaiti can be a small part of spreading the good news with you, it is all for the glory of God."

The need is great, and conditions in Haiti remain tenuous. A recent update from Pastor Abraham (Harvest Ministries), characterized security in the Port au Prince area this way: "Crimes are going up, as is civil unrest, with kidnapping, killing, and robbery ever-present." He then adds, "Through it all, God has been so good to us and has done miraculous things amongst us."

As 2020 comes to a close, we, like Pastor Abraham, can attest that God is good and is doing miraculous things! Thank you for your faithful support. Join us in praying for a prosperous, and blessed new year for the people of Haiti.
