MH Equipment a good neighbor to MFB Peoria

Support for Midwest Food Bank Peoria comes from many people and businesses. Recently, it came from just a few steps away.

The national headquarters of MH Equipment is right next door to MFB Peoria. It employs over 900 people and has 28 servicing locations across 10 states.

MH employees will walk over to MFB Peoria to volunteer during the workday. They have also held food drives to benefit MFB. CEO and owner John Wieland works from this location.

"John is a humble, Godly man who believes in being a good neighbor," says Monica Scheuer, Executive Director of MFB Peoria. "His support is a blessing to us."

MH Equipment recently lived out one of its values: "Investing in our Communities for a positive impact by coming along side our employees' passions with support and financial assistance through our 'His First Foundation' charitable program." Last week, they donated a Hyster forklift valued at $19,000 to MFB Peoria. This blessing will increase Peoria's ability to move pallets of donated food from trucks and trailers and around the warehouse.

Thank you to MH Equipment and its employees for your support of Midwest Food Bank. You are a highly valued partner in the fight against food insecurity.
