Mo Cotton Kelly joins MFB New England advisory board

Opened last December, MFB New England continues to build a team that will serve people throughout the region. A new member of the team is Montique "Mo" Cotton Kelly. Mo brings 24 years of experience in higher education and is the Vice President - Alumni Relations, Annual Giving and Communications at the University of Connecticut Foundation. She will serve as a member of the advisory board for MFB New England.

"We are thrilled to have Mo join our local advisory board," says Jan Young Young, Executive Director of MFB New England. "Her passion and energy for our mission, coupled with her fundraising expertise, make her an ideal addition."

Mo has been active in professional organizations related to her field. She believes that the mentorship of colleagues is important for any organization.

"I am passionate about food insecurity and am honored to join the MFB advisory board. I support hunger efforts in our local community and also raise money for students at UConn who face this challenge,"  says Mo. "Knowing that I can lend my experience and expertise to help Midwest Food Bank get food to those in need in our state is truly rewarding."

Mo lives in Mansfield, CT, with her husband, James, and two children.
