Volunteers getting MFB Pennsylvania ready

Midwest Food Bank Pennsylvania has much to be thankful for as we head into the holiday season. We have secured a lease on a warehouse, we are now fully staffed, and we will soon be ready to share the blessings of abundance with others throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states.

Our new facility is coming together. Pallet jacks, warehouse racking, and other needed supplies are arriving. We are grateful for so many wonderful volunteers. Many helped us paint at our "BYOB" (bring your own brush) event (see photos). Our friend Danny did a lot of handy-man work inside the facility. Warren and Steve drove the forklift to unload all the beams for the warehouse. We are blessed to have them and grateful to them for sharing their time and talents.

We also want to thank some of our local business friends who donated time and services to help us with our technical needs: Tom Lazzara of INTELECOM Consulting, Brian Ullrich of Impact Fulfillment Services, Kirk Fletcher of K&K Alpha Communications, Duane and Jeff from Cheran Inc. Electrical Solutions, and Dale and Kathleen Schwan from Environmental Interiors. We greatly appreciate their help and expertise.
