MFB Morton benefits from 210 Financial's tasty fundraiser

Midwest Food Bank is often the beneficiary of charitable efforts by local businesses. These fundraisers bring awareness of food insecurity and MFB's mission while providing donors with fun perks. 210 Financial's Pumpkin Pie Giveaway is a perfect example.

Morton-based 210 Financial recently offered their customers a free pumpkin pie in exchange for a donation to MFB. Not only that, 210 Financial matched every donation dollar-for-dollar. Donors were also encouraged to volunteer at MFB. The 210 Financial team even spent a volunteer evening packing Tender Mercies.

"Each year, our team picks a charity to partner with, and throughout the year, we try to incorporate it into different events," says Carrie Stahl, COO of 210 Financial. "The Lord has blessed our clients and us tremendously, and we love partnering together to give back to our community or those around the world."

This was 210 Financial's fourth annual pumpkin pie drive. Over 70 people participated, and over $7,000 was raised, which 210 Financial will match.

"As a donor and volunteer-driven organization, MFB is thankful for community involvement like this," says Lisa Martin, Executive Director of MFB Morton. "210 Financial found a fun and creative way to alleviate food insecurity in our community."
