MFB Welcomes Kellie Bray to National Board

Kellie Bray, Chief of Staff at CropLife America in Washington, D.C., has joined the Midwest Food Bank National Board of Directors. Her extensive background in organizational leadership resonates perfectly with the mission of MFB.

Kellie hails from Cameron, Missouri, and holds a bachelor's degree in general agriculture and political science from the University of Missouri. With over 25 years of experience in agriculture and insurance trade associations in Washington, D.C., Kellie is deeply committed to making a difference, especially in feeding those in need.

As Chief of Staff at CropLife America, Kellie is pivotal in assisting the CEO with various organizational projects, including strategic planning, staff structural review, and aligning the budgeting process with strategic plan priorities. She also serves as a representative of CropLife America to numerous external committees and coalitions.

Kellie's dedication extends beyond her professional life. She is involved in the D.C. Chapter of the National FFA Alumni Association, the Mizzou Alumni Association, and Sigma Kappa Sorority.

Kellie's values align seamlessly with the mission of Midwest Food Bank, as she comes from a farm family deeply rooted in agriculture. Her family's discussions often revolve around food production, healthy meals, and perceptions of agriculture. Moreover, Kellie's strong faith and commitment to caring for others have led her to Midwest Food Bank, where she can put her passion into action.

Kellie currently resides in Alexandria, VA, and dedicates her time to volunteering on the Sigma Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees. In her spare time, she finds great joy in cheering on her four nieces and one nephew, all of whom reside in Missouri.

With Kellie's addition to the National Board, Midwest Food Bank continues to strengthen its commitment to providing industry-leading food relief and feeding the spirit of those in need. Kellie's passion, expertise, and alignment with the MFB's mission make her a valuable asset to the team.
