About Midwest Food Bank New England

Midwest Food Bank New England has been serving the region from its facility in Manchester, CT, since 2020. To date, we have distributed 13.8 million pounds of food, valued at over $54 million, to more than 160 non-profit partners, all at no cost. Our leadership team consists of Corey Barrette as Executive Director, John Pesaturo as Operations Manager, Kristen McNamara as Development Manager, and Michaela Blain as Volunteer and Community Relations Manager.

We rely on core volunteers who support our operations, development, distribution, finance, and social media efforts. Volunteer opportunities are posted on our Facebook group (sign up here) and in our bi-monthly email newsletter (sign up here). Non-profits in Connecticut and neighboring areas can pre-register for food distributions from our location and pick up food on a scheduled basis. We are actively adding interested non-profit partners to our waiting list.
