Update! - Washington, IL Relief Efforts

Many have been asking how you can help our disaster relief efforts. Let me first say that the outpouring of love within this community is both humbling and overwhelming, we are so proud to call Central Illinois our home! Listed below are 3 ways you can support your unknown neighbors through MFB Morton...

1) Product donations. We are looking specifically for Soup, Canned Fruit, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Shelf Stable Milk, Granola Bars and Diapers. Of course, all other items are welcome and useful. Please ensure that items are not expired, that they need little or no cooking and that any canned item is a "pop top".

2) Monetary donations. Please prayerfully consider donating in this manner, especially if you are located outside of our immediate area as shipping food would quickly become costly. Please be sure to earmark your donation for Central IL disaster relief so we know where to direct the funds. Checks can be sent to the address listed above and credit card donations can be made online at www.midwestfoodbank.org or by calling our office.

3) Truck drivers are needed immediately to help pick up and deliver product donated to us for the relief efforts. No special license is needed as these runs will be made in our pickup truck, Sprinter and box truck. If you have some time in the upcoming days, please call our office to put your name on the list of volunteer drivers.

We thank you for assisting us in standing ready to help supply the need in the short and long term and for truly sharing the blessings!
